Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2025
By using Dot — whether on the waitlist or as an active user — you agree to these terms. We've kept them as human as possible.
What Dot is
Dot is a personal assistant that lives in WhatsApp. It helps you manage tasks, reminders, lists, and the mental load of everyday life. Dot is a productivity tool — not a medical, legal, or financial advisor.
Using Dot
You agree to use Dot for personal, lawful purposes only. You won't use Dot to send spam, harass anyone, or do anything that violates WhatsApp's terms of service or applicable law.
You're responsible for keeping your WhatsApp account secure. If someone else uses your account to interact with Dot, that's on you.
Your content
The tasks, lists, and messages you send to Dot are yours. We don't claim ownership of your content. We only use it to provide the Dot service to you — nothing else.
What we promise
We'll do our best to keep Dot running reliably and improve it over time. That said, we can't guarantee:
- 100% uptime — things break sometimes
- That Dot will never make a mistake — it's AI, not magic
- That WhatsApp will always work — that's Meta's job
Use Dot as a helpful tool, not as your only system for critical information.
Pricing
Dot is currently free for waitlist and early access users. When we introduce paid plans, we'll give you clear notice in advance. You'll never be charged without your explicit consent.
Cancellation
You can stop using Dot at any time. Just stop messaging it. If you want your data deleted, email us at hello@talktodot.com and we'll handle it within 7 days.
Limitation of liability
Dot is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Dot. In plain terms — if Dot forgets your grocery list, we're sorry, but we're not responsible for the missing milk.
Changes to these terms
If we make meaningful changes we'll let you know by email. Continued use of Dot after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any disputes will be handled in Israeli courts.
